Mrs. Pignone

Welcome to another exciting month in Mrs. Pignone's Class! 🎉 We had a fantastic time diving into some amazing projects and learning experiences. Let’s take a look at what we accomplished and what’s coming up next!

February

We wrapped up our Black History Figure project, where students showcased their creativity and learned about influential figures in history. 🌟 In science, our 5th graders explored molecules and matter, while the 4th graders investigated the structure of an animal eye. 🦉 Our 3rd graders focused on animal traits, discovering what makes each species unique! Additionally, we finished our narratives, and the students did a wonderful job expressing their thoughts and stories. 📚✍️

March

Get ready for some engaging activities this month! We will dive into opinion and argumentative writing, helping students express their viewpoints effectively. ✍️ In math, we’ll tackle fractions, making sense of parts of a whole. 🍰 And in social studies, we’ll explore the Midwest region, learning about its geography and culture. 🌍

Things to remember

As we move forward, please remember to encourage your child to share their thoughts on the topics we’re covering. Engaging in discussions at home can enhance their understanding and spark their curiosity!

Until next time!

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education! Together, we are making great strides in learning and growth. Let’s keep the momentum going! Have a wonderful week ahead! 🌈
