Mrs. Pignone
Hello, Wonderful Families! 🎉
Welcome to another exciting month in Mrs. Pignone's Class! We are thrilled to kick off the last trimester of the school year, and we have so much to share with you! Let’s dive into what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next!
This month
We began our last trimester of the school year with a bang! 🎊 Our students in grades 3-5 kicked off the month by diving into the RICAS ELA assessments. They also learned how to craft their very own opinion writing pieces, showcasing their thoughts and ideas in a structured way. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication!
Looking ahead, we will continue our journey into the world of fractions! 📏 We are also gearing up for the RICAS Math assessments in May, so stay tuned for more updates. In writing, students will be putting their skills to the test as they create the up ir own opinion pieces.
In science, we have some exciting topics lined up:
- 3rd Grade: Snails, robots, and biomimicry 🐌🤖
- 4th Grade: Sedimentary rocks 🪨
- 5th Grade: How raindrops form ☔
Things to remember
As we move forward, please remember to encourage your child to practice their writing skills at home and to review their math concepts, especially fractions. Also, keep an eye out for any upcoming assessments and ensure your child is well-prepared!
Until next time! 🌟
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our classroom! We are looking forward to another fantastic month filled with learning and fun. Let’s make the most of this last trimester together!
