Art
Welcome to another colorful trimester in Ms. Under Baggage's Art Class! We’ve been busy exploring our creativity and diving into exciting projects. Let’s take a look at what we accomplished last week and what’s coming up next!
Trimester 2
In Grade K, our little artists had a blast working on the color wheel! They learned about overlapping shapes and how to create shadows to give their artwork depth.
Grade 1 students explored seasonal perspectives, capturing the beauty of nature through their unique lenses.
Grade 2 focused on marigold textures using warm colors, bringing a vibrant touch to their creations.
In Grade 3, students illustrated Native American legends, showcasing their storytelling skills through art.
Grade 4 tackled tree and nature scenes in one-point perspective, learning how to create depth and dimension in their drawings.
Finally, Grade 5 delved into the world of Surrealism, creating eye-catching "eye fantasy" pieces that sparked their imaginations!
Trimester 3
We’re excited to continue our artistic journey! Next week, each grade will revisit their previous projects, allowing students to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of the concepts.
Grade K will continue with the color wheel, overlapping shapes, and shadow techniques.
Grade 1 will further explore seasonal perspectives.
Grade 2 will enhance their marigold textures in warm colors.
Grade 3 will continue illustrating Native American legends.
Grade 4 will keep working on tree and nature scenes in one-point perspective.
And Grade 5 will dive back into Surrealism with their eye fantasy creations!
Until next time!
Thank you for your continued support in nurturing our budding artists! We can’t wait to see what they create next week. Keep those creative juices flowing!
